Controlled Environment Agriculture

Cornell CEA Advisory Board

The Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) Advisory Board was formed to address the increasing demands of consumers for fresh, local, and year-round produce. In New York, meeting this demand means incorporating various technologies to extend the growing season.

The CEA advisory board was designed to address this challenge with a multifaceted approach made possible by the diversity of its members. The team is composed of New York State producers; AgriBusiness professionals; supermarkets; government agencies; financial management companies; and Cornell faculty and staff from the NYS Agriculture Experiment Station; the Charles S. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management; the School of Integrative Plant Science; and the Department of Biological and Environmental Engineering.
